Technical Standards for 2026

In professional and competitive environments, typing is measured in two ways:

WPM (Words Per Minute): The standard unit. A "word" is officially defined as 5 keystrokes (including spaces and punctuation).
KDPH (Key Depressions Per Hour): Used primarily in Data Entry (DEO) exams.
Standard: 8,000 KDPH is roughly 27 WPM.
Advanced: 15,000 KDPH (for CAG roles) is roughly 50 WPM.
